Sugar Rush Show

I will have one of my pieces "Cotton Candy" in the Sugar Rush show. This is an all girl group show at the Monkeyhouse Gallery. The show will run: Jun. 21st to Jul. 6th Opening Reception: Sat. The Woodsman

I just finished this piece, it is a bit larger than my other square pieces, aprox 10" by 10" and on board...a little bit got cut off because my scanner is not big enough. My next project is to submit some pieces to some upcoming shows.. keep an eye on http://www.mailmeart.com they are working on some projects that may include some of my pieces. The end of March I will be taking my first week long vacation in 3 years!,, and I'm going to Texas. My next big sale will hopefully be May 3, the RISD alum sale. Hope you all can make it... Werewolf

This is a picture I just finished for theconnoisseurs.com I will be selling it at The Boston Sci Fi art show in January. Hopefully, I will be able to frame it with a nice hand carved, Black Forrest frame. A few upcoming things: FPAC Holiday store, FPAC Holiday sale Dec. 7 - 9th, ARISIA, And if I do not post before Christmas: Happy Holidays.

Last month I was featured on the cover of the Weekly Dig, a local free magazine/newspaper type publication. There was a little print-up inside about my art work and the Fort Point open studios.

Upcoming events

Saturday and Sunday September 8th and 9th I will be at The Boston Arts Festival in Christopher Columbus Park. Link Oct. I will be at the Fort point open studios the 19th, 20th and 21st. A great event with over 200 artists working in all mediums of art and craft. Link

RISD sale 2007

I got into the RISD alumni sale. It will be May 5th in Providence RI anyone on my mailing list will get sent a postcard. It looks like there will be a few illustrators there this year. More info I'm also working on a few entries for a starbucks card contest:

Gulu-Gulu Cafe Show

I'm going to be in a 3-person show at the GuluGulu Cafe in Lynn Mass. It is only a 20 min ride on the commuter rail from Boston, so if you are in the area please stop by. The show will run from Jan 8th to March. There will also be a meet the artist day on Feb. 15th starting at 7 pm with live music at 8.

I have finally run out of the 1500 business cards I had printed out about two years ago. It is time to print out a new design. They should be ready for my next show.

Sales and shows for the end of 06'

This year I will be at the: 2006 Fort Point Holiday Sale http://www.fortpointarts.org/ Friday December 8th 11-7 and Saturday Dec 9, 11-5 I will mostly be selling prints and neat little buttons because I need to finish 12-20 new paintings for a show in the new year. I will still have 2-3 orignal pieces but they will be in limited supply. Time to Quit my day job?

Well not quite,

But I am selling my paintings faster than I can paint.

Prints help a lot ,, they keep people intrested in my work and provide a little income inbetween paintings. I think I may have to raise my prices again.. I know my work is cheep but I want to still keep some of the orignals affordable to people that would not normally purchase art.. (college students, starving artists and such)

we will see..

on the top of my list is to update my website and get a nice body of work done for a cafe show I'm having in the new year.

I do not think I will do the Boston SciFiCon this year, they moved it and now it is harder to get to...I will also need some more time to paint. ------ Happy Halloween..

Boston arts festival

Art Supplies

I just got my Blick shipment today of Art Boards and matts. I love getting new art supplies. I'm ordering some prints for open studios and am looking foward to their arival. One of my co-workers (Shannon O'Connor) published an artical about the Boston Arts festival and some of my work in The Mass Media www.the-mass-media.com . I will post it on my website.
